Tip #1: Choose a desk to suit your office space

Firstly, you’ll need to consider the size and shape of your office space, along with how much of that space is required to accommodate for your working needs.

Tip #2: Choose Your Style

Secondly, you’ll need to decide on the style of your desk. At BOX15, we offer a wide range of desk and table frames which you can view online HERE. We also offer desk / table tops so that you can find the perfect colour for your office décor.

Tip #3: Know the Material of your office desk

Thirdly, there is a wide range of materials available for desktops. From solid wood and particle board to glass and Quartz composite (to name a few); but knowing which one to choose can cause a headache. However, we’ve already done the hard work for you and narrowed it down to the most comprehensive material, so that you can jump straight into choosing your style!

As mentioned in ‘Tip #2’, all of our desk and table tops are made from MFC, which is composite wood made by mixing wood chips with strong resin. Not only is it very durable, but it is also heat resistant and requires low maintenance, subsequently making a very popular material for desk / table tops

TOP THICKNESS

• 18mm: These thinner tops are generally used for smaller workstations and where the most economical solution is required.
• 25mm: Our best selling & most popular thickness; perfect for standard operator workstations and suitable for most applications.
• 36mm: These extra thick tops are mainly used for meeting / boardroom tables where something more substantial is required as a statement piece.

EDGING

As standard our desk and tabletops have 2mm thick ABS Edging and 2mm radius all round. By default, the edging will match the chosen table finish, however other finishes can be selected on request.

Tip #4: Consider Storage Options

And to conclude; you’ll need to consider which storage solutions you’ll need. Our desks don’t come with drawers readily fixed, which gives you the flexibility to find the perfect storage solution.
