SNACK Pull Out Breakfast Bar | 800mm Wide | Frame Only

SNACK sliding worktop revolutionises the concept of the kitchen unit. It uses a slide out mechanism to allow a kitchen island to transform in to a breakfast bar by pulling out the countertop. You can even use it to hide away built in sinks and hobs etc when not in use.

All these transformables utilise an ingenious frame design and have been developed to maximise space saving in smaller areas, or where a clutter free environment is required.

Designed to sit neatly hidden away behind a drawer front, this system simply pulls out and gives you a choice of table widths. All you need to add is the top of your choice and then you have a versatile tabletop, perfect for small kitchens, kitchenettes, laundry rooms, offices, playrooms and children's bedrooms. Recent applications have also included mobile homes and caravans.

Hello, The required height for the sliding mechanism is shown on the "Dimensions" drawing which can be found under the technical data tab on the product page. This drawing shows "H" as being a minimum of 55mm to house the framework. I hope that answers your question? Many thanks, BOX15

Hi, This worktop is ideal for what we need but your 2 length options are both too long. Looking at page 6 on the instructions M6 x 40 machine screws hold it together. Is it practical for me to cut the length down and re tap more threads or is there no material to do this?

I checked with the factory on this, as I thought it best to consult the people who designed the system and this is the response, excuse the 'euro speak' : 'it is absolutely possible for your customer to obtain a less wide mechanism by cutting the profiles that joint the slides. Customer has only to check that enough through holes remain on the profiles to fix the top and eventually to drill new ones if necessary. It is not necessary to tap new threads on the profile as we use self threading screws.'

hi, the overall length says 2600mm x 800mm does that mean the over hang is 800mm? Thanks

Hello, This mechanism is exactly what we are looking for but our counter top has length (L) longer (105") and depth (P) shorter (25") than the required specifications. Is it possible to custom made the slider to fit our needs?
