Hi what is the max weight doors these wheels are designed for ?
Hello. The wheel kit is used when the door exceeds 50kg in weight. Regarding the load capacity of the wheel kit, the factory have advised: “It depends mainly on the floor material. In our experience with wheels, a weight of 80kg is acceptable”. I hope this assists. Kind regards, BOX15
My door is likely to be over 50kg so appreciate I will have to add this wheel kit to the installation but can you confirm that I am to leave the metal floor guide in place, I assume this doesn't replace that?
This wheel kit is designed to be used in conjunction with the metal floor guide, so this is not supposed to be removed as this isn't necessary to accommodate the wheel kit. In fact, it actually needs to be present to ensure smooth and proper running of the door, as gravity alone will not be sufficient for the door to run true.
