GHOST FLOOR Concealed Internal Sliding Door System

GHOST FLOOR is a sliding system that is built into the door, making it completely invisible whether the door is closed or open.

The big difference between GHOST and GHOST FLOOR is the application. If you don’t have enough space or headroom above the door, then GHOST FLOOR is ideal, as you put the slide/rail on the floor.

The supplied kit included everything required to make the sliding system - all you need to do is source / manufacture the door of your choice.

Technical information for the door (not supplied) : Minimum door thickness 40mm / maximum weight capacity 50kg

I would like a brochure and DWG cad details for the Ghost sliding door system please. This is urgent as we are putting this forward to the Architect for a very high profile residential tower in London. Many thanks and I look forward to your quick response.

I have opening of over the specific 900mm size (its 995mm). Will the 900mm kit work with opening space of 995mm (door width is 1190mm). Thanks, Australia

Hello. No I’m afraid this would not work, it has to be the sizes listed. Please see the 'Dimensions' under the Technical Data tab to see the overhang on either side of the door opening. As you’ll see, the door has an overhang of 32mm which would not cover the remaining door opening space you have. I hope this assists. Kind regards, BOX15

Who do you recommend to fit professionally?

Hi Paul, We dont have a list of "recommended" fitters for these - however you should find any professional tradesperson in the building / joinery area should have no problems at all fitting one of these, we provide full fitting instructions (online and in the box) and there is a handy video on the product page showing an overview of the installation. Hi, does this system work on carpet?

It's effectively a floating system so by design, the bottom of the door wouldn't be in contact with the carpeted floor. If you watch the product video, you will see that you have to fix the Base Plate Runner directly to the floor and the system slides on this. Watching that video should hopefully explain everything
